Kavalierglass: filling glass ovenware market void with SIMAX borosilicate products.
In light of domestic glassware supply instability, Czech borosilicate glass manufacturer Kavalierglass has purchased German glass manufacturer TGI to aid the growing demand for borosilicate glassware.
Ladislav Novotny, Head of Kavalier's Sales department, states, "People are demanding genuine borosilicate glass for their kitchens, so we are constantly refining our production schedules and techniques in order to meet increasing demands." He continues, "We are in a growth mode and are confident that we can meet the increased demand without trouble."
Kavalierglass of North America's National Sales Manager, Carol Wells, adds, "You can feel a pull towards borosilicate glass. Being the only company in the states with this glass formula, we are very busy educating the marketplace and placing our SIMAX borosilicate products".
Kavalierglass' borosilicate glass, trademarked "SIMAX," still uses the same laboratory glass formula while competitors have switched to a less expensive tempered glass formula. Kavalierglass currently distributes to over 95 countries and is the largest borosilicate glass manufacturer, producing much of the world's casseroles and teapots, among other products. Kavalierglass is positioning itself to be the next dominant U.S. brand of glassware for stovetop or oven.
(Kavalierglass has its US headquarters in Elk Grove Village, a suburb of Chicago, IL where it warehouses and distributes SIMAX glass for the US market.)
